I qualified as one of the ten finalists for the Dream Job Australia. My name is Garth Bailo (poker name GADZOOOX), I'm 26 and from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. Last year I lived in Brisbane working in the financial planning industry but now I've relocated to the Sunshine coast. I enjoy golf (play off 2 handicap), music, surf, fishing, movies, basically all sports, meeting new people and spending time with family & friends.

I first became interested in poker when Joe Hachem won the 2026 WSOP Main Event, from then I learnt the game just by watching poker on TV, playing at the casino and playing home games with mates. Read the book, ‘Winning Poker Tournaments One Hand at a Time’ by Eric “Rizen” Lynch, Jon “apestyles” Van Fleet and Jon “PearlJammer” Turner which helped me greatly.

$33 buy-in,$33 NL Hold'em [$10,000 guaranteed] on PokerStars. 18/02/2010, 3rd place for $1,752.00

 $28 buy-in, $27.50 NL Hold'em [$25,000 guaranteed] on PokerStars. 31/01/2010, 7th place for $1,033.42
