Doyle Brunson
"Texas Dolly" has been playing poker for 40 years. The owner of 10
WSOP bracelets and 1 of only 4 players to have won consecutive WSOP main events. Brunson is perhaps the most famous and most respected poker player in history. He is the author of Super/System, known as "the Bible of Poker". The hand 10-2 is known "Doyle Brunson" as it is the hand he won both of his WSOP main events with, in 1976 and 1977. As of 2007 his tournament winnings exceed $5 million. Brunson was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 1988.

Johnny Moss
Johnny Moss is a poker legend. He won the WSOP main event 3 times (1970, 1971 &
1974), 2 of them in consecutive years. Moss played in every WSOP from 1970 to 1995 and won a total of 8 bracelets. The "Grand Old Man" of poker once played against Nick the Greek in an epic battle set up by Benny Binnion. After 5 months Nick the Greek was down anywhere between 2 and 4 million dollars and uttered the famous poker quote "Mr. Moss, I have to let you go". The hand A-10 is known as "Johnny Moss". Moss was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 1979.

Johnny Chan
Born in China and known as the "Oriental Express", Chan has won 10 WSOP bracelets and is tied with Doyle Brunson for most WSOP wins. He won the 1987 and 1988 WSOP main events, and then placed 2nd to Phil Hellmuth in 1989. As of 2007 Chan has won
over $5.9 million in tournaments. Johnny has published 2 books dealing with poker. He is one of the all time greats and in 2002 was inducted to the Poker Hall of Fame.

Phil Helmuth
In 1989 Hellmuth became the youngest ever World Champion of Poker by winning the WSOP main event at the age of 24. He defeated Johnny Chan who was looking at 3 consecutive WSOP main event wins. Known as the "poker brat" for his frequent outbursts and over the top ego, Hellmuth is a an excellent yet somewhat
temperamental player. His ability to read his opponents is amazing. As of 2007 Hellmuth has won in excess of $4 million at the WSOP and has amassed some $9.5
million in tournament winnings. He currently owns 11 WSOP bracelets more than
anyone else. He also leads the list in WSOP cashes. |

TJ Cloutier
Thomas J Cloutier first learned to play poker whilst serving in the US army. Cloutier
specializes in No-Limit & Pot-Limit tournament play. He has won many titles but has been unable to win the WSOP main event. He has finished in the top 5 four times, twice in 2nd place. A highly regarded author of multiple books, TJ is amoung the worlds best poker players. The hand J-9 of clubs is known as "TJ Cloutier". As of 2007 his tournament winnings exceed $8.8 million, and he currently owns 6 WSOP

Erik Seidel
Seidel was originally a champion backgammon player before moving onto poker.
Just recently he added another bracelet to his collection at the 2007 WSOP in
the $5000 2-7 draw lowball event, making him owner of 8 WSOP bracelets in total.
He is also a former member of the "Mayfair Club". He placed 2nd in his first major tournament, the 1988 WSOP main event, losing to Johnny Chan. As of 2007 his tournament winnings exceed $7 million.

David Sklansky
Sklansky is the poker worlds Einstein. He has published some of the most comprehensive and definitive poker literature ever. He has backed his poker works with 3 WSOP bracelet wins, and a win in the invitational "Poker by the Book"
WPT event. As of 2007 his tournament winnings exceed $1 million. He has contributed more to the poker world than most
through his teaching.

Men Nguyen
Born in Vietnam, Men "The Master" Nguyen is the owner of 6 WSOP bracelets. He has won more than 75 tournaments and his winnings exceed $7.8 million.
He is currently 2nd on the all-time WSOP cashes list behind Phil Hellmuth. Nguyen has tutored many
successful poker players. He is a truly great player of the game.

Dan Harrington
Known as "Action" Dan Harrington ironically because of his lack of giving any
action at the table. He is one of the most skillful players alive. A winner of the WSOP main event in 1995, he has also placed 6th, 3rd and 4th in the main event. In 2003 & 2004 he survived two of the biggest fields ever in the main event to make it to the final table. His 2 books on No-Limit tournament play are 2 of the best ever published. Previously a member of the famous "Mayfair Club". He has a total of 2 WSOP bracelets and as of 2007 has won in excess of $4.8 million in tournament play.

Phil Ivey
Known as "The Tiger Woods of Poker", Ivey has won 5 WSOP bracelets all before he
was 30. Impressive for a predominately cash based player. He has had success in WPT events despite not being able to win one, yet. He also won the Monte Carlo Millions tournament in 2005, taking home the first prize of $1 million
backing up the next day to take down the Fulltiltpoker.com Invitational
worth $600k. As of 2007 Ivey has won in excess of $7.8 million in tournament play.

Gus Hansen
Gustav Hansen is known as "the Great Dane" in reference to his country of birth. Hansen is known for his extremely aggressive and loose style of play. He is adept at reading his opponents and avoiding traps. Hansen has had much of his success on the WPT
with 4 titles and EPT with only one cash-in at the WSOP. A great player who as of 2007 has won in excess of $4.8 million in tournament play.
Let's not forget to mention his Aussie Millions win in January 2007.

Daniel Negreanu
Known as "Kid Poker", Negreanu has won 3 WSOP bracelets and 2 WPT. This prodigy started his success in 1997 winning 2 events at the World Poker Finals. His WSOP Pot-Limit Hold'em event win in 1998 made him the youngest ever WSOP winner, a record he held until 2004. He has had much success on the WPT,
where he leads the all-time money list. As of 2007 he his tournament winnings exceed $9.7 million.

Howard Lederer
The "Professor of Poker" has 2 WSOP bracelets in is possession and a host of finishes in the money. The brother and mentor of Annie Duke. His best finish in the WSOP main event is currently 5th but he is sure to
try and better that. Previously a member of the exclusive "Mayfair Club" he
practiced his craft with some of the best. Lederer has also won 2 WPT titles and as of 2007 his tournament wins exceed $3.4 million.
In 2003 he won the "WPT player of the year" award. A great player with an excellent record.

Barry Greenstein
Greenstein has won 2 WSOP bracelets and 2 WPT titles. He is known as "the Robin Hood of Poker" as he gives all of his poker winnings to charity. As of 2007, his tournament winnings stood at over $5.2 million. He has finished in the money
more than 25 times at the WSOP, a great feat from a great player. He is also the author of the book "Ace of the River" which was widely accepted as an exceptional book.
