The Aussie Millions Poker tournament is the biggest poker tournament outside the United States. The year of 2008 braught 780 potential winners, which included many big name poker pros from around the world. It also saw a record prize pool of $7,800,000. The event is held at Melbourne's Crown Casino, a spacious world class casino. All Aussie Poker would like to congratulate Alexander Kostritsyn of Russia for winning the 2008 Main event.

Again in 2008, Full Tilt Poker had a big team in attendance with pro's and qualifiers alike.

Big names like Joe Hachem, Mark Vos, Erik Seidel, Phil Ivey, Lee Nelson, Scott Fischman, Mel Judah, Tony G, Jeff Lisandro, Sarah Bilney, Howard Lederer, Kathy Liebert, Erick Lindgren, Evelyn Ng, Paul Wasicka, Billy Argyros, Jesse Jones, Kristy Gazes, amongst others, the 2008 event saw many talanted players attempting to take down the title.

It seems like the Aussie Millions gets bigger and better every year.
